I'm this close to buying Fox w/DSC for all 4 corners...

As the title States, I'm looking for recommendations for some Fox shocks with DSC.

Plan is to keep it 2.5-2.75" of lift, no more than that.

Now I'm not 100% positive what the stock valving is out of the box, I plan on calling Fox next week to see what they say/recommend. But wanted to extend the conversation on to the forum as well (@jberry813).

I plan on having them built to the old Kore specs(more specifically just one internal change), the valving on the Kore was 50/70 for the coil-overs.

I'm also open to suggestions for the rear. The rear will stay stock height. When the truck does see off-road use, a lot of the time I have a few hundred pounds in the bed.

shortcut to Fox valving chart for reference:
    http://accutuneoffroad.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/FOX-2.5-Shock-Valving-Specifications.pdf

I read that the low speed adjustments allow 50-100% more dampening,
while the high speed adjustments allow 25-50% more dampening.

    Now for spring rates;
Based off talking with a lot of people it seems like 700 lb spring is the way to go. I don't plan on having an off-road bumper or additional weight but it seems like that's still the recommended spring rate for Crewmax. One thing that gets brought up in every convo is that the 700lb will require less pre-load than the 600lb spring...what I am having a hard time understand as part of this argument is that all these aftermarket coil-overs appear to linear rates - so how does more pre-load equate to a more harsh ride? Sure the piston sits in a different part of the shock body, but valving takes over from there and (from what I can tell) valving doesn't depend on the location of the piston in the shock body but rather the velocity of fluid traveling through.

Any help or insight regarding my concerns would be much appreciated and welcomed :)

    Thank you

    I guess I should add,
Aside from the M-F driving to work, weekend play includes a lot of forest service roads, decent amount of washboard (hate that), rocky/rutted out roads, some shitty power line roads and we have some fun quicker paced areas around as well.

Did you ever get answers on this ?

I have the same set up you were considering and I’m looking for answers.

I went with ADS racing shocks instead and not even taking a glance back.

ADS FTMFW! Such a solid product.

Nice set up!! Was looking forward to reading the results from the valving specs. Haha did ADS do some valving for you as well? Also how you liking the Camburg arms? Your alignment numbers come out ok?

So is that a single adjustment? I’m not familiar with their adjusters. So I did go with front and rear DCS fox’s.

I'm a fan of Camburg, they do add a lot of caster just an FYI. Cams centered I can pull off about 7 degrees.

    Toe and camber just dandy!

ADS comes with a flutter to help tune out the everyday driving but still be able to take hard hits wheeling. I also opted for 600lb spring for my CM - very happy with that decision. I believe ADS is the only mfg to have custom 650lb springs made for them.
