    Hey Everyone,

I've decided to sale my '08 SR5 5.7 4x4 Crewcab in order to downsize to an '08 Tacoma (getting ready for my 15yo son). I bought the Tacoma from a private seller so it wasn't traded. I'm struggling a bit with pricing the Tundra now. I've owned the truck since Jan. 2014. The truck only has 82,000 miles (thanks to work truck), 9/10 interior with Katzkin interior, mechanically excellent and everything works with no issues, frame was also checked by Toyota and no issues there. Truck has new tires, roll up bed cover and Borla exhaust.

The only drawbacks are a few exterior cosmetic issues. There are a couple of deep scratches on the paint, paint around fender flares faded and badging which was blacked out by previous owner is peeling off. The grill was also blacked out previously. When I bought the truck the blacked out features really made it stand out to me.

Anyway, sorry for the long post and I hope this isn't breaking any forum rules. I would just appreciate any honest feedback. By the way I am located in NC.

    Thanks

Just go on Craigslist see what others are posting theirs for in your area, also check kbb and nada and see what seems fair.

I just tried Carvana and the offer was $11k so that isnt going to happen. I'll post it up on CL start at $19k and negotiate from there. Maybe some interesting trades will get offered which is how I got it to start with.

Carmax usually makes good offers. As others mentioned, kbb & nada for ballparks values.
Selling on Craigslist can be interesting. I would opt for auto/truck trader or similar publication.

I don't think you'll have a problem selling it and $19k sounds reasonable to get people talking to you.

Your truck will blue book between 17-17.5k is my guess. It’s entirely dependent on the prospective buyer as to whether the add one have value to them.

I am somewhat firm at $18.5k, it's paid for and don't eat groceries. I think I would be hard pressed to replace it with a similar Toyota 4x4 for this price.

I may post over in the classifieds and see if there is any interest there then post it on CL.
