VA Public Shooting Range - Lake Anna Area

Hey VA folks, headed to Louisa County and Lake Anna for the weekend. Are there any public shooting ranges, outside 100 yard or longer for rifle? I’m hoping to make sure my rifle is sighted in from last year. Prefer within 45 minutes for a place that isn’t going to be crowded. Thanks in advance, Crabby

 

There is a place but you have to go down 17 towards warrenton. It sucks, I live about 10 minutes from Lake Anna. I have a nice LWRC I bought a year ago and there is no good place to shoot around here. I have a friend that just bought 23 acres and he will have it ready in 2 weeks.

I live in Spotsylvania.

 

I live in Louisa County, no public range that I have found. There are a few private, one out to 1000 yards, but i have not been able to access them.

Maybe an hour out depending on where you will be.

 

I saw Clark brothers, I may have to give them a try early Saturday.

Was hoping for a range like Peacemaker up in Martinsburg, HIGHLY recommend if you can make the drive up.

 

I would love it if someone opened a range around here. Most of the time I have to settle for shooting my bow.

 

What about closer to 81?

 

I still use peacemakers for my matches even though we moved from stafford 4 yrs ago.

Range 82 may be an option for you.

In manassas you can use elite shooting sports. Thats where i check 0 before matches. 100 yard in door. Very nice place
