Would I experience any fitment issues using an RCI engine skid and a Victory 4x4 trans skid? I have cheap access to both (from separate, random sources).
It looks like they overlap on a cross-member, use the same bolt locations, and if both are aluminum would the fitment be an issue? Where they overlap they're just flat 1/4" sheets, right? Or is there some other manufacturer-specific detail that would cause those two skids to not work together?

I can’t comment on those brands, but I’m using P&P for my front skid (bc it’s thicker gauge) and RCI for the back half. Stock skid on fuel tank.
You might want to look into the bolt sizes used though but you could always enlarge the holes if needed.

And was there anything you had to do to make them work together, or did they just bolt right up?

Sorry for the delay... They bolted right up as I recall.
