I drove until my fuel light was on put in 20 oz of seafoam in the tank with 20 gallons of gas . Went through that whole tank now have trouble codes C1201 = Engine Control system malfunction , P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow. I have deleted them multiple times with techstream but they come back . Link

1st question, when did you add the seafoam before the full tank or after?? 2nd question have you modified your intake in anyway?
C1201 is zero point cal. I get those every now and then, I usually delete them with an obd2 and it's gone for a few months.

As per the seafoam I think you were supposed to add gas, then dump in the seafoam.. hopefully it hasn't damaged any component in there... Check your piping, I was getting the P0441 code on my Celica, but I crossed the purge hoses as I was in a rush to move the car out of my rental and never noticed.... Your case, it may have slipped out.

I do believe it's towards the tank. You may also want to check your gas cap as well.

Weird, I've been using seafoam the past year or so without issues. I normally add to a half tank of gas but not sure how your method would create an issue.

    Hope it is simple

Wow, never had an issue with Seafoam. Is that the engine knocking or something else?

Hard to isolate the noise from just inside the cabin. Can you have someone give it gas as you film under the hood, and maybe underneath?

Glad you found it. Certainly a better outcome than engine noise.
