URD universal 02 sims

Does anyone have experience with these? After some short emails with Gadget, he said for the 20's these were recommended.

I am wanting something to hold me over with these headers and open midpipes until I can have my cats shipped off and put into another one.. Not wanting the truck to have any adverse affects with just running with a CEL.

My concern with these is splicing into the ecu wires, and if it even works. Anyone done anything else with long tubes and open mids? Thanks

 

Why wouldn’t it work? It’s just a fancy RC circuit used to turn an AC voltage into a pseudo DC output. As long as the values are selected appropriately it should work. Since you’re buying an already designed circuit it shouldn’t be an issue.

 

Might grab them this week, just installed my headers with cats, if CEL pop up going then they are being ordered.

 

Interested in this, I've been wanting to go to long tube headers and with all the catalytic converter thefts this would seem to be a good route to go.
