So I’m looking into getting some subs in my DC, however, I’m a total noob when it comes to these things. I like the downward on simply because it’s carpeted but the con with that is that I would have to get rid of storage compartment that’s under the seat and it’s just too convenient to get rid off. I like the forward one because I could keep the storage compartment (I think? I may be wrong like i said I’m a noob when it comes to these things) and the upward is pretty much the same as the downward pertaining to the con. Also what is the difference in ported and sealed? Does it matter? The file attached is just something I found on CarId because it’s convenient to me to look up. Thank y’all in advance.

I had an 8 inch solobaric that pushed a lot of power so it performed best with the port. It depends on what sub you're using for the box, they have specifications that you should look up to see how big the box should be for performance.
I personally prefer the behind the seat but am currently building a center console sub box to stretch mine over the middle of the back seat.

Haha no worries...glad I dialed back the sarcasm this morning. Have you picked for sure yet then?

Maybe you can update this post title to something like duplicate can mod delete if you wanted it deleted.

Yeah I decided on which subs I wanted. I got two Memphis 10” subs (350W RMS dual 4 ohm) I would’ve liked 12” but I guess there just wasn’t enough room for them. I like it but now I have a under seat storage just sitting on my back seat lol.

Yeah I hear that. Mines in my attic. I got a plastic tote from Costco and put all my recovery gear, tools, and what not in that. Leave it in the bed under the cover with the tailgate locked. Has been good for almost two years now.
