I just finished up doing some electrical work installing some lighting and thought I would pass along some information. I've read some posts here where folks were wondering which of the fuses in the underhood fuse box were continuously powered vs accessory/key powered. Thought I would post some testing I did for what it is worth. This information is for my 2015 SR5:

Happy to help! I could have done it/used it when I installed my Raptor style lights in the hood bulge and ran the wires to the inside fuse box through the grommet in the firewall. But, I dummied up and didn't do my testing first. Would have saved me some time and standing on my head to tap the inside fuse box.

Just used this to troubleshoot why my firestone airbags kept coming on while in storage and killing my battery. I couldn't find anything that didnt switch off. Now per your spreadsheet i no longer have a dead battery.

I know this is an old post but based on the chart can I assume is safe to tap into any accessory fuse to connect Amazon’s Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel with an Add-A-Fuse? I want to connect a 42” light bar from Amazon and some spot lights I’ll be getting soon

If you are talking about using a relay to power your light bar and spot lights and using the Add-A-Fuse tap as your trigger wire to the relay, then yes. If you are asking if you can just hook your added lighting to a an existing circuit with an Add-A-Fuse, then no. You will need to add up the watts of all the lights you are adding and divide that by 12 (12 volt system) in order to calculate the amps you are adding to the electrical system of your truck. You will want to get a relay or relays (if you are wanting to control the added lights separately) that will support the added amps for your lights. A pretty common relay (40 amps) will support up to 480watts of added accessories (40 amps X 12 volts). If you try to power the added lights with just an Add-A-Fuse tap, the added amps will easily out strip the circuit amps you are tapping and will, protectively, blow a fuse. A relay allows you to power a power-hungry accessory safely by using a low-powered circuit as your trigger wire. The trigger wire just closes a contact within the relay and allows your battery to provide the power for your accessory. Just make sure you know what sized relay and gauge of wiring you need to use. Hopefully this makes sense to you. Post more questions if you have 'em.
