Today’s work:



Front windows tinted to match the rears (20%). Debadged and took the TRD 4x4 stickers off. I should have started with the IForce badge. The rest would have seemed like a walk in the park.



Stubby antenna. I only listen to XM or the iPod.



LED interior replacement with door lights on the 3rd brake light and license plate lights.



Got some presents from @Toytec Lifts. 3/1 Eibach kit with shackles.

@TwistedTad off to a good start! Where'd you source the led lights? Any shots in dark?

@_bm27 I ordered the LED replacement bulbs from EBay. It came with everything for the interior including the bed lights on the 3rd brake light and the license plate lights. It also came with a few extra bulbs just in case. It was about $30 shipped. It took about an hour to get everything installed. Watched a few YouTube videos on how to install. Easy DIY project and what a huge difference. I'll take a photo of it tonight and post it in this threat.

 

Awesome @vl184009 . I have lived in Canyon Lake for about 12 years and love it. Prior to that I was in Murrieta for awhile. Had to move all the houses started to look the same. Maybe I'll see you around if you are visiting.

 

Thanks @fisherman951 . I will check out the SoCal page. I will be working on my truck for a few weeks (lift, wheels, tires, UCA's....) and when she is suitable to come out and play I would love to do some runs.

 

Ya, I graduated from Lake Elsinore High in 1983 but moved to Palm Springs right after. Sure has grown out there over the years, blows my mind every time I go visit my family. Good times cruising through Canyon Lake back then, lots of good memories sneakin around out there being crazy teenagers.

@vl184009 there are plenty of cool spots to still sneak around out here but they have built a lot of houses. My mom lives in Palm Desert not to far from you. Thanks again and stay tuned on my Tundra build. Probably a few weeks out for the lift, UCA’s, rims and tires.

@_bm27 here is a picture of the LED replacement bulbs in somewhat of the dark. They look awesome in person. Like I said easy DIY project. I just used a butter knife to pop the plastic covers.

@itsjustmetal I have not had the tires installed yet but will be glad to let you know how I feel about them when they are. My friend has the same tires and swears by them. He got almost 60k miles out of them.
