Does anyone know of a way to turn of the CarPlay limitations on the 2022 head unit? I had an aftermarket head unit in the 2017 Tundra I traded in that didn't have any. The Toyota unit limits access to the library and other features to recently played albums, songs, playlists, etc.

Also, for whatever reason the alarm yells at me about an unbuckled seatbelt for the middle seat in the back even when no one is back there. My wife has the same issue in her 2021 Rav4. I haven't been able to find a way to get it shut off. The workaround is to just buckle it, but we've got kids so it's going to end up not buckled with a decent degree of frequency.

On a clear day, I can see Seattle from my house.

For the rear seat belt alarm, try a short seat belt extender to see if that shuts it off.

I would be taking it back for the dealer to fix this if you don’t have weight on the seat. This would drive me nuts.

I agree. I have nothing in the back seat (most of the time) and mine never dings at me. I've had my 2022 for about 3 weeks now. I would definitely have the dealer check it out if it's dining at you and there's nothing back there.

My kid switched from the middle seat to the outboard seat (don’t ask me why) and the alarm would not turn off. Had to restart the truck. I haven’t found a way to disable this.

My daughter moved seats in the drop off lane and the alarm went off until she opened the door to get out. It doesn’t bother me because it’s my backseat narc. BUT.....I’d love to disable it for my seat!!

My wife’s 2019 RAV4 XSE did that at first but quit after a few weeks..

Mine pings at me when my son unbuckles and jumps out at the drop-of lane also…but then the unbuckled light displays on the dash and the light as well as the sound usually goes away by themselves.

Does it do this if the vehicle is in park or is put into park?

When it’s in park mine hasn’t. While we’re waiting in line we all unbuckle and I get no ding.
