Hello everyone, I'm a new member and would like to introduce myself. I'm a retired Houston Firefighter of 31 years and have been a loyal Toyota owner for 40 plus years. My latest Tundra was a 2010 crewmax. I say was because I'm replacing it with a 2022 1794. My 2010 is going to my son in N. Carolina. All of my Toyota trucks have been fabulous; however, I'm hearing some disturbing news about the new 2022 Tundra. I watched a video last night about possible turbo wastegate issues with this new truck. I have not taken delivery of my 1794 yet because it's been at GST here in Houston since 12/09 and no one can tell me what the delay is. Can anyone share any information you might have regarding this matter?

I spoke with the CarPro (Jerry Reynolds) today about the issues regarding the turbo wastegate and he hasn't heard anything concerning wastegates in the new Tundras. He thinks that the delays in customers receiving their Tundras, specifically the 1794s in the South Texas areas is due largely to manpower. I don't know what is going on except my 1794 has been sitting at the VPC in the loadline since December 12th.
