All the tuner and performance guys out there. What tuners do you recommend for a 2016 Tundra? Also what do you think of the Bully Dog GT Gas or Bully Dog BDX? Truck has cold air intake and I am also planning to add flowmaster 50.

You have 2 options when it comes to tuning. Bully Dog and DAP. As for your exhaust, I highly recommend you call @dirtydeeds he is master of exhaust on all things Tundra. Cold air intake is useless on these trucks as the stock setup is essentially a CAI. AFE dry drop in filter would suffice. Oh and after all that, Welcome to the party!!

    Thanks for the mention.

    I’m happy to help.

The cold air intake isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But it doesn’t gain power either. I’ve thoroughly tested several brands with the exact same results. Our trucks will adapt around them.

The Bullydog is definitely the tuner you want. World class company with great technical support to back them up.

Call for a discount and for details.

^^^ what he said. I personally use the Bully Dog BDX which does not stay connected all the time. The GT is designed to stay connected for the use of the gauges. I prefer to not draw attention to a mounted tuner so I keep the BDX locked away and only pull it out to change a tune.

1st post, just installed the Bully Dog BDX. Had to unplug battery cables and touch them together for 1 minute before tune would write...is this normal? Tried performance tune with speed limiter off, everything else stock. 93 octane fuel, speed 116 and climbing, what is the top end?
