It’s been on and off down here. It stopped, now picking back up. Nothing sticking yet to the roads

Meant to post this yesterday, but life happened. Anyway, better pic of the show. It's better because it has a Tundra in it. :)

Oh boy. This is gonna be a rough morning/day.

The maintenance work done last night did not go as planned and the engineer who broke things decided it was ok to bail when the maintenance window ended instead of sticking around to help fix the problems. :annoyed:

Every maintenance window is like that, though it's usually the craft folks who bail and engineering and operations are left to deal with it.

We generally will roll back the changes if there are issues. This particular engineer seems to think that if we aren't getting calls there's no issue..... NOBODY CALLS AT 3 IN THE MORNING! :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Every time he's on a maintenance window this happens. It's not all his fault, but him opting to just go home instead of staying to make sure the changes didn't break stuff is getting old. The first time, ok, second time because you think you fixed what went wrong the first time, ok. But this is the 6th or 7th time. History shows that you need to keep your ass in your chair until you are CERTAIN you didn't break everything.

    I know. :sadviolin:

Where I worked previously, those guys would get bad performance reviews and generally get moved into crappy jobs no one wants to do. Or get promoted to a high enough level of management that they can't break anything.

    Happy Friday, Everybody!

At least to those of you with weekends off. Make the most of the time off. Go out and enjoy yourselves. Spend time with family and friends. Make sure those who are important to you know it!

Just a few moments ago...I'll check the truck when the rain stops. Glad it's not a foil truck or I'd be dented to death.

All is good...it takes golf ball sized Texas snow and larger to dent a real Tundra. :)

Teriyaki Beef Yakisoba from Maruchan for breakfast today. Really wish it was the chicken flavor instead.

First world problems for sure. Most thankful for my many blessings.

Looks like some beautiful weather there. Don't know about you, but I'm ready for some spring and summer at this point.

Super jelly... I dragged the family thru CO a few years ago on a summer road trip and we spent some time in Glenwood Springs. That's a fun little town. We fell in love with the tacos at Slope and Hatch. I think we ate there 3 times in as many days. Good times...

    Have a good one!
