never could do the gym thing. i need to be outside but, between my day job and studio schedules, it's pretty hard to find people to ride/hike/ski with. the only thing that motivates me these days is knowing that i have an escape for at least a couple of hours on my bike. then some asshat on their phone will almost run me over which kinda ruins it...

 

Even with the asshats, that sounds pretty good. I wish I had the drive/passion/whatever you wanna call it for stuff like that. Hoping the kayak I'm planning to get will ignite some of that. I'm really out of shape, so I have to start with simple low impact stuff until I can toughen up some.

 

movement is a drug. doesn't matter how simple. just put your body in motion.

 

@Mountun Goat I see in the instagram pics that you're planning to bedline? You just doing the bet, or coating the whole truck?

Thanks not bad for doing it to a string line. I am putting down a sand base for my aboveground pool. I just finished tampering the sand, damn I'm glad thats over with.

I started the roof rack and some accessories as it was rainy. It’s rainy today too. At this point it’s looking like these pieces will be the only weekend projects.

 

Damn. That looks nice. I've never actually seen your rack before but it's bad ass. Is it a custom built one? What's the little J hook on the right rear?

Idk about that. People spend crazy money on lots of things. Hell, a basic headache rack from a mass production big box type of outfit is stupid expensive. Custom work would be worth more. Look at what some of the rock sliders are going for in bare metal. Just a thought if you have an entrepreneurial leaning. Definitely something to be said about having a one of a kind piece of gear on your rig, though.

 

That is true, I make custom pieces for fun and to save cash we’re I can. And of course to have the only one of something too

Oh me too! Hey Canada- lay of the rain would ya!? Bed lining the truck is bitter sweet for me. I have real truck/shop work addictions. Once the truck is bedlined, it’s bedlined. And I will no longer have that work to look forward to haha. It won’t end here anyway. I’ll find other fun things to do to it I’m sure.
