I know that you and the other mods get so much flak for keeping things moderately clean in the live thread, but I appreciate it. I love the jokes, innuendo, and "that's what she said" as much as anybody, but when it get's into pics and tales of personal sex-capades... Not what I come to this site for. I love this community, and the social/non PC/casual atmosphere, but some stuff needs to stay in the PMs.

 

I have a friend who used to drink bud light. He went about 360. He lost about 50 pounds, I asked him how? He said he switched to michelob ultra, swears he lost about 1.5 pounds per beer

And it’s a shame that you seem to be the only vocal one about this, when I know for a fact many people feel the same way.

 

I get it dude, but I also have to make a comment of my own. It sure seems that whenever the fun gets shut down you have made a point about being at work and not wanting to get in trouble for images or something like that. In other words, I feel that you are the one always reporting minor shit and making the Mods act.

I work for my State Gov., my shit it watched big time, that's why I don't use my work computer for forums and instead I use my phone. Give it a try so maybe it can lighten up a bit here.

I've not used the report function once. I am just voicing my support. The only thing I did was use a meme to gently ask that pics not start popping up again. I have actually used my phone and still commented that some stuff didn't belong on here. I don't have any animosity towards anybody that has posted things that have offended me, nor have I reported any of it. I've bit my tongue because I don't want to cause problems. I was just thanking the mods publicly instead of privately because I appreciate the job they are doing. It's like thanking the cop that tells your neighbor to turn down the music after 10 PM. You didn't call it in, but you appreciate the peace.

 

It wouldn't matter if I was on my personal device or the work one, I don't wanna see boobs or hear about people getting laid on here. I specifically mentioned that I visit this while at work because it is something that people more readily understand.

Just my own personal views. Partly because I thought some stuff was disrepectful, and partly because I knew that it could bother other people. Hell, if you scroll back you'll see I liked some of the stuff that popped up.

I am a full on supporter of the "so what?" response when people say they are offended, and I love free speech. That's why I didn't ever report anything, and only ever politely asked for it to tone down a bit. I'm not going to try and impose what I think is ok or not on anybody, so if I asked and it didn't happen I just let it all slide. It's not my site, and I have no say, but when action was taken I expressed my appreciation. I am not trying to ruin anybody's fun, but I am supportive of the mods keeping the public spaces clean.

Getting the stong impression that I've pissed a bunch of people off in here, so I'm just gonna take a break from the live thread.

 

I have an announcement.. I am buzzed off my ass. That is all, now to watch Star Wars in bed on TV and sleep.
