Mad is not even the word right now. Tried changing the oil on my wife's Camry and cannot get the oil canister off to save my life! Now I've cracked it and can't even put oil in it to drive it to the dealer. I usually do all my own oil changes but since I lived in the apartment for a short time, I wasn't able to the last time so I took it to the dealer. They must have really cranked on the housing. So here I go to the dealer.

Yeah but it's not because she won't run. Just some jackass who overtightened something.

Not sure but all the X-SP trucks on the lot had that grille. Might help in your search.

For any of you who everyday conceal carry....if you're not using Alien Gear, you're really missing out. I've owned several different styles of holsters and none of them are even close to the comfort of this product. I can barely tell its even on. I will never buy a different holster again. This is for the new gun I ordered - now if the county clerk could just get their shit together I can pick up the gun!

I have the cloak 3.0 for my gen 4 glock 23 and really like it. I have an OWB for my glock 43 and it didn't fit well. I had to trim a bunch of the leather AND the plastic of the holster bc it was so tight between my grip and holster my fingers wouldn't go between them.

If they made a tuckable one I'd of bought one, not as much a fan of the full backed IWBs.

Live in NY. In this state you buy a gun, the FFL dealer gives you paperwork with the serial # and gun info on it. You then have to take it to the county clerk and sign a paper. Next, you wait 3 days to 3 weeks for a piece of paper to show up in the mail. You then go BACK to the county clerk, add the gun to your permit and go back to the dealer to pick it up.

It all seems incredibly UNNECESSARY for people who already have their permits. Its frustrating to say the least.

Whats it like in other states?

Next door in CT if you don't have a pistol permit you can buy a long gun and there is a 14 day wait after the FFL completes a background check. if you have your pistol permit then you have already passed an FBI background check so its just a matter of filling out the paper work and waiting around 30 min for the FFL to call the state police and get an authorization for the purchase. so nothing gets done out side of mon-fri 8-6 and 8-12 on Saturdays.

When they did the assault rifle ban recently they restricted ammunition sales. So now you have to have a Pistol Permit, Hunting license, or ammunition permit to buy any at all.

How does the pistol purchase work though Chris? Same as NY?

That's crazy, lol. In Tennessee I walk in the store, say " ooooh, that one!" Fill out some paper work for about 20 minutes while they run my background check and I walk out with a gun in my hand.

Sure do Steve. You cannot have a pistol in NYC. If you get caught, you're in deep shit.

You must have a pistol permit to purchase a hand gun in CT. Once you have the permit you can purchase any firearm same day as long as DESPP (state police) is open. Process takes about 20 min if they aren't busy and around an hour if you go to one of the big box stores like cabelas. and of course you can't buy anything that looks, sounds or could possibly at some point be scary.

I go in touch some guns pick one that makes my pants tight. Fill out a background check form wait for it to be ran then take it home usually within an hour. During the gun craze a while back the checks were backlogged by 5 days. That's the most I have ever heard of someone waiting in CO.

That's freaking unbelievable, in VA, I walk into a store, pick one out, do registration paperwork, background check, pay and walk out with it.

Yeah, I dont understand the process at all. I've already been through an extensive background check just to get my permit. If its still valid, I shouldnt need to wait up to 3 weeks to pick the damn thing up.
