    What's a long weekend???
We are still here....Tris is trying to get settled in. Found a place, waiting on her household goods, and today was her first day back to work and was handed a shit sandwich.

I am exhausted between OT, school starting (and I'm not enrolled in classes this semester), and then transitioning from nights to days for drill. But still here! :D

Yesterday i was on my feet for most of my 12hr shift. My knee wasn't very happy. And let me tell you....we have a shortage of mattresses and hauling those butches all over the jail gets tiring. They each weigh around 40-50lbs.... and I'm usually hauling 3 at a time

Yikes! Sorry, hey try some Aleve, it works for me, as I'm always in a constant motion with my wrist n elbow on the machine I operate, and tennis elbow is kicking in, might look into surgery, but for now Aleve helps pretty good

Well was mowing the lawn tonight and about 3 hours in my diesel tractor starts to shake a little so I jump off and check stuff out can't see anything wrong. So I pull off the mower deck knowing that John Deere compact tractors have a u joint problem on the main motor drive shaft and guess what....it took a shit. I have 770 hours on the tractor and this is the second time the u joint a taken a shit first time a 450 hours. First time caught it before it screwed anything up not so lucky this time.:annoyed::frusty: the shaft is $450.

Pretty cool gift came in the mail yesterday on our anniversary. It's a vial of the medicine that was used to save our sons life last year. Defiantly brought back some good and bad memories.

No but that joint was a replacement joint for some type of Toyota when we looked it up a NAPA. LOL

The engineers put the joint in a none serviceable location. You have to take a big section of the tractor apart to get to it. You can always tell that an engineer doesn't work on what they design.

Got woke up yesterday evening to go pick up our son from daycare. Wife wrecked her Camry on the way home when some kids with no insurance did a u turn in front of her and didn't stop, so she t boned them at 55-60. The car looks totaled with all the airbags, going off passenger wheel half turn off, and most of the frontend caved in. While she got beat up by the seatbelts and bags, she seems ok other than sore. I guess there is a small silver lining, I'd sold my Lightning and took the money from it and bought her a 2018 4 Runner 2 weeks ago tomorrow. The carseat had just came in for it Wednesday so all is well vehicle wise. I had my little Ranger for sale to help pay down the 4 Runner but it looks like her Camry may do that.
