I hate that. I used to score keep, umpire and play....every time someone started running their mouths i would ask if the scouts were in the stands. I would always get a nasty look but most of the time they would shut the hell up. Its a game played for fun.... you aren't making any money or getting into the big leagues for Christ sake.

Exactly...I am competitive but only with myself...to many people with different skill sets in this small town to let the game get out of hand. I let my defense and hitting do the talking. Went 3/4 with trip, double and had the last put out at home cause some guy thought he was fast enough to run on me.

Good morning....I have about 10lbs of ground venison left. Need Sept 1 to come sooner so I can attempt to fill the freezer again.

 

My Buck hunt draw is in Oct. Elk....November but I've got grouse season starting in Sept to tide me over....Venison tacos..........

Washington you have to pick your method...but this year I got drawn for multiseason deer, so I get to hunt every season available. Archery starts Sept 1. Dove is in Sept I believe, but pheasant starts in October. Can't wait to try out my new lab.

 

Looking good here. A little windy but blue skies so no complaints.

 

I love playing catcher and one time we had this chunk ass who hit the ball pretty far out in left field and the guy was rounding 3rd as the short stop got the ball. Short stop zipped it in to me and the guy was half way down the base line when i got the ball. He figured that he would slide and hit my glove to knock the ball out so he'd be safe. Well.... he broke the spine of my glove, hyper extended my thumb, and cleated me in the shin.... all for nothing. I still got his bowling ball ass out.

That was the top of the first inning....we were short a few players because they couldn't get off work in time for the game. I played the rest of the game with a taped up hyper extended thumb and got 4 more guys out at home and batted.

That guy who fucked me up talked shit the whole game saying i was a pussy and making shit up. I ignored him and after the game i changed out of my cleats, packed up my stuff in my bag, walked over to him and tattooed him in the shoulder and said "if I'm such a pussy then why did i play the while game like this?" And held my hand up and gently pulled my thumb down past my wrist. He lost all color in his face and almost fainted. I calmly walked away and said "who's the pussy now?"

That was in front of all his buddies.

I had too wait a few hours to go to the ER because i couldn't drive for 2 reasons...

1. I drove a stick shift and needed a ride
2. I was a little intoxicated and starving

So after i ate and my friend got off work we went to the ER.
