I do enjoy a cold brew or iced americanos. We do pour-overs so not something I can make easily ahead of time. And it doesn’t change the end result.

 

I was excited when I got a notification on my phone that Netflix had Cowboy Bebop. Haven't seen that anime in a while, and I loved it... and then I found out they did it live action.

Are you after the highest caffeine? I'd recommend Matcha if you are. Make sure you get the powder though, not the teabags otherwise you're losing caffeine content.

 

Funny - I can't do black tea. It fucks me up. Especially Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and Chai. Something in the black tea pushes my heart rate through the roof and drops my blood pressure at the same time. It's almost like having a blood sugar crash.
I'm good for one 20oz black coffee on the weekends, and two on weekdays. Usually takes me about 4 hours to make it through two cups. And nothing with caffeine after noon for me.

It really is strange how things change as you age. I have a few other food sensitivities that I have to watch. Nothing bad, but things I cannot ignore either. None of these things bothered me a decade ago.

It makes traveling for work a lot of fun...

Yeah, anything with beans or lentils will absolutely destroy me (and anyone unfortunate enough to be around me).
For days.

 

So far my gut can handle most things pretty well... except chorizo. That straight murders my guts. It's a terrible sick feeling for me, and I'm pretty sure I could peel the paint off an aircraft carrier with the fumes emitted. Stuff tastes great, but I'm a flat out biohazard for about 8 hours afterward.

I drink a kombucha 4-5 days a week, typically with my lunch. I’ve found it helps keep things in order. But if I skip it for too long, the “cold start” in my system is pretty epic.

 

Yeah, we brew our own kombucha…it’s the only “black tea” I do drink. Sorta like miso and tamari are the only bean products I can handle.

 

I have an iron gut but I still like to treat it good.

 

I don't do teas, but I will have a Noosa yogurt on occasion to keep gut bacteria in good order. Been a while, so I should probably get one in the next day or two.

 

I'll pretty much eat anything that doesn't eat me first.

 

Just because she takes initiative doesn't mean you can't follow up.

 

That’s my fav flav. From the Costco 6-pack combo? I get on of those packs and the Kirkland brand 8-pack every trip to Costco.

 

Costco!? I need to look, just getting gouged at Safeway currently.

 

Hopefully Costco has them in your area. Their lemonade kombucha is very good too
