Insomniac role call.

 

4:30 am here. Just woke up feeling sick to my stomach. Hoping it wasn't something I ate because then I'll have to deal with a sick wife and kid, too.

 

Was up at 3:30 couldn’t sleep so I went to the gym

 

I woke up at midnight, but I just laid there until I passed out again.

Yikes! Hope you're right and get to feeling better.

Alarm set for 0530, so naturally I was up at 4.

 

I toss and turned for another 30+ minutes after my last post. Slept like crap all night but hit snooze twice without waking up. Nuts.

Speaking of nuts, I bet the ‘22 crew are going nuts over the lower-than-God-promised mileage on the new truck. The non-hybrid numbers are posted

 

Given the hand wringing and wailing over the looks, yeah. I bet there will be some "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" going on.

 

The rumored MSRPs are making me real happy with what I’ve already got in my driveway

I don't get why people are surprised by the price bumps. The 2nd gen had a big bump on arrival as well.

 

Yeah. And just as many people lost their shit, and just as many people ran to the dealer waving their money.
Unless something goes horribly wrong, I'll be shopping again in about 9-10 years. Until then, I've got more mods to do on my 21.

 

I think I'm almost done with mods, and I can't help but smile about it. The next big things for me are a bed rack, a RTT, and probably add a transmission cooler. Then she is pretty much done. Maybe someday I'll put a bumper on, but it's not a need or anything.

I'll be ordering either the rack or the cooler this month. Nick has a few coolers that are discounted for "ugly" welds, and the bed rack I want is 15% off this month. Decisions decisions.

LOL. I’m being an idiot apparently. I’ve been looking at getting another food cooler recently and that’s where my mind went. Completely lost your reference to the tranny cooler. More caffeine please

 

This headache is getting old. Thinking I might go grab an energy drink and pop a couple excedrin. Full on nuke on this thing.

 

2 excedrin and half a red bull later. Taking the edge off, but it's still there. I'll polish off the red bull and then go for a bunch of water to make sure it's not a dehydration headache... I'm gonna pee a lot this afternoon.

I’ve started more than one meeting today with “Keep the questions simple and only requiring yes/no answers. That’s all I can handle”.
