*Pushes glasses up nose* Wellll the forester has 9.2" inches of clearance while the outback has 9.5". The forester gets the 2.5 NA while the outback gets the 2.4T. They both have the dual Xmodes and the forester has slightly better breakover and departure angles as well as being a little narrower. *throws glasses in garbage because I have 20/20 vision* It looks really good! Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you how much I hate white vehicles. For some reason I love the wilderness twins in white and wouldn't have hesitated to get a white one if available.

Lol. Real talk, if they announce the crosstrek orange on a wilderness outback I will trade in immediately. Always loved orange.

Nice. Though I may prefer the look of a Forester over an Outback, the performance would put me in the Outback too. Well done, @LarryDangerfield

    Hell yes, easy decision.
Yeah, hard to pass up on the T. Doubt they come in a manual, but that would be fun!

That's my fault. First day off and I slept like 10 hours. Did it wrong and my back is out, but worth it.

Ya, they make a RWD (base model) that’s slow asf, single motor, and a lot less features.
Mine is dual motors, AWD, long range. (370/ 390?t) i will be test driving the M3P model (430/480t) in a few weeks then ordering it

Not sure how you all navigate the forum. Normally I just review threads that I follow, but occasionally I hit the New Posts link.

Just did a New Post search. Wow, the “WadaFuk on my ‘22” threads are still growing.

I scroll through the new threads but rarely read any '22 threads.
The ones I have looked in have left me dizzy and confused. Granted it's new generation so there's going to be a lot of opinions and questions.
I can't commit any brain cells to them at this time. :)

    Same same.
Hit the alerts to see if I've been tagged (happens a fair amount because of the wiring diagram thread), then check my "watched" list for new posts, then I might just scroll down the main page and look for anything that I might be able to offer a valuable post on, or see if there are any dumpster fires that might be fun to watch.

I imagine early in the Gen 2.5 release, when the site first started, there were probably a lot of similar waddafuk threads then too. But it is certainly exhausting, so I have only bothered to look at or check in on a few of them. I'm not really interested in the Gen 3 until it's got a year or two behind it and the dust settles a bit on performance, stability, and real-world experience. But even then, I'm sure I'll be more of a casual observer than a potential buyer because my MO has always been to hold onto a rig for a LONG time.
