Yup. Watched a live stream of a guy that was at the announcement. Sadness. It's history repeating itself, and it's all based in emotional kneejerk reactions. The true sadness will come when the last V8s roll off any manufacturer's line. Dodge is the first, but won't be the last.

 

As long as they don't make it look like the electric Mustang they might do okay.

 

The live event they did made it sound like the Challenger and Charger will step down and the Roadrunner and 'Cuda will replace them. May have been poor wording on his part, or a misunderstanding on mine, but that was what I thought was said.

That looks like a nice cruiser, I wonder if the doors will still open/close with a hellcat and on slicks.

man, I always like Challengers, a convertible RT cruiser would be nice, just some nice exhaust, widebody, 20" rep widebody wheels, it'll be a sweet ride.

 

Nope. Waste of money IMO, and especially where I live. I hate soft tops anyway.

They need to not bastardize the Challenger or Charger names w/an electric motor. I get that companies are being forced to change, but the iconic names should be put to rest w/those engines. I vote for Buzz, Zapp and HellKitty for the new beasts!!!!!
