This is true. Living in the middle of nowhere has it's perks. My neighbors don't even ask questions when they hear gunshots in the middle of the night.

Depends on where you live and what vehicle. Some can pull it off, others cannot. For me and the shitty road I live on, silver or white are good choices because they hide the micro scratches and such best. If you aren't hand washing and polishing it up to protect it on the regular, anything black/dark is going to look like shit. If you are a detail addict then almost nothing beats a shined up and polished black vehicle.

 

I think it would be far worse to "use" his bed than to sleep in it.

 

Then you do white, but stormtrooper it. Most vehicles can pull that off, and the contrast adds the depth that white usually lacks.

Here is a quick google of the SV with luxury stuff that adds the headlights from the Pro4X. I think it looks damn good. Now imagine adding on some black vinyl decals to taste.

Hilariously enough, the thing that got me over not liking white vehicles was my Jeep Renegade. It was a Trailhawk, and with all the black plus the hood vinyl it was actually pretty ok to look at. (Not mine, internet pic to illustrate.)

 

Damn right it is! Forget the being faster comments it stays clean looking longer especially with good detailing products. My wife’s car is black and I can wash them on the same day, use the same products, and mine always looks cleaner. The only issue with white is that you see the contamination more after winter. I had orange spots the size of a needle tip all over after winter but easily come off with clay bar/polish/and wax. I’m going to try some different sealing products this winter and see if I get different results.

First mountain bike ride of the season today. Missed rippin down the mountain on a bike! Have some work to do after winter, the climb was rough!
