I think it’s a sweeter taste so I understand that. I feel like my mom and sister have been a coconut oil trip, I know it’s a great oil to use for a lot of things, almost like tea tree oil.

I’ve made a MESS at one of the local hippy stores trying to make some “homemade” soap for camping. Hahah a new jug of Dr brawners will NOT accept a pump without making a HUGE scene in the back corner of the co-op!!! Napkins you say? Hahahah they are no match for the concentrated slipperiness that happened. Quickly pay and exit was my strategy……

Maybe because it’s not liquid at room temperature so you can’t put it in a squeeze bottle?
We use the shit out of refined coconut oil - no flavor at all

Maybe, but you could apply butter as well and it’s similar.

@NWPirate afrer cleaning, be sure to leave a thin layer of oil spread evenly on the griddle, including edges. (After it’s cooled off). It’ll keep it nice and smooth and much easier for your next cooking

Been hit and miss for me.
Just had a random smoke detector false alarm. Before that, I was up for a gut ache. Going back to bed now

Like a baby here. All that talk of food from last night...

Headed to my uncle's ranch for the day, to help him get an awning put up, and if I'm really lucky bag a pig. Taking a couple of prime steaks and some potatoes. Can't decide Bush's beans or Husband Pleasin' Ranch Style. Has to be a can today for convenience.

Well that sounds like a terrible night. Hopefully you get some quality rest now!

Hopefully you get one! Sounds like a good day. Never really been all that happy with Bush's beans, never tried Husband Pleasin lol

Got more sleep than the night before so I’m calling it a win. Feel rested enough to tackle the day with my sidekick caffeine.

The sleep I got was good, but I was dumb and stayed up later than normal, so today I'm just coasting.

Too many posts to quote, so:

    • Slept great. Actually still in bed. Got the ear buds in with a rain playlist going.
    • I think a smoker and Blackstone are the perfect combination. I started using my smoker for everything during covid and now I can taste the gas when we cook on the propane grill. Eff that.

I think we should petition to get the 1.0 Sonic design brought back. Just to really screw with Sega/Paramount.
