Nice! I have a 4 day weekend with how it landed this year, but with it being end of quarter and end of year, I'll probably end up working a half day tomorrow.

Yep, same temp for C and F. I did an internship at PACCAR’s R&D facility years ago. That’s the parent company for Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. We had to cold soak parts to -40 for testing. Was always fun getting the parts out of the industrial freezer, hooked into the test equipment and the tests run before they warmed up…

How’s the Tesla do when it’s that cold? Does it drain the battery faster? Yours lives in a plush garage so it probably doesn’t matter as much.

It hasn't been this cold in years, but I believe it’s around a 17% range loss if so. It preheats every morning to my set temp regardless (usually I keep it at 78* in winter by the time I roll to the gym)

It’s at 55* now (as it’s “sleeping”) I can adjust to 80* and it’ll be there in minutes

Not sure I could drive something without a round steering wheel.

I still need to drive it one day, but I heard once you’re used to it it becomes preferred.

Done done done. Work is done. Wife’s Christmas work party is done. Home out of the cold and away from the crazy is done.

Now to relax and clear my head of all the noise

    Merry Christmas!

Headed out of town in the morning, back Monday. Will try to catch up on my phone, but might not get to join in any reindeer games while we're away. I hope y'all have a fine holiday.

My Dad bought a use '64 Dodge 440 (body style, not engine) and it had an oval steering wheel. Not too pronounced, but the extra room under (and over) the wheel was nice. I suspect the same would be true here after a little adjustment time.

Here's one I really wish had made it to production.
