So why not just toss trash in the bed of the truck and make a weekly trip to the landfill?

 

Cause my time is worth something so I pay for a single garbage can and recycling which works for most weeks and if there is overflow, or house projects, or spring cleaning, it goes in the back of the truck and off to the dump.

 

Ah. I agree on the time being of value. At a minimum my personal time is valued at my OT pay rate. That's what it costs my employer to get any of my personal time, so I'd say it's a fair minimum benchmark. I tend to factor that in when a company is wasting my time.

 

It took me a long time of being stubborn to learn this. Somethings it is just better to pay someone to do it. Does not apply to my truck or vehicles though. Everyone can keep their grubby hands off.

 

I have no problem paying a mechanic, but finding one that isn't a crook or a retard is getting pretty hard to do these days. I'm reluctantly taking on the duties myself. I hate it, but I hate thieves and idiots more.

Don't go cheap on it. Get fresh Australian lobster. Makes Maine lobster taste like the bottom feeders they are.

Cheap crab will turn you off of it if you're not big on seafood, so be sure to do it right when you do it.

Can't decide. I like everything too much. Maybe some really good BBQ - brisket or pulled pork. And some good rye whisky to go with it.

Or a perfectly grilled steak with all the trimmings and a couple beers to wash it down.

Maine lobster is a treat, and as fresh as you can get. I have had Dungeness crab a lot and king crab. A lot of crab from other places, not the same imo. I prefer King crab from Alaska.
While in Boston, the lobster roll is like the lobster meat on a bread roll. Good but not the same as cracking it open yourself. We had to try the lobster roll while in Boston. The legal seafood is a great place to eat in Boston, across the street of the Aquarium. They have the best clam chowder and calamari. Great combo for lunch.
