I’m guessing this isn’t a common occurrence so thought I’d share the experience. I was out fishing with a few of my buds and this happened. Dude in a Raptor dug himself deep in the sand due to 4x4 not engaging. He said he just bought the truck and it was his first time trying to use 4x4 so not sure what the deal was and why it didn’t work. Either way, I was able to help and pulled him all the way to the entrance/pavement. He was super appreciative and wanted to give me $$ for my help but I passed on it... told him it all comes back around so I’m just glad I could help. 823B9C60-4D93-4F35-87CD-E976AA9921A4.jpg

Even better! But if the OP had a black Tundra he never would have spotted the raptor, he would have flown by too fast to notice

yeah man, this particular beach has a sign at the entrance saying 4 wheel drive vehicles only but there’s always ignorant ppl that manages to take a blind eye to it and end up getting stuck... if they get lucky and manage to get out before park rangers come, they avoid a ticket

Great pic and a good deed!

Reminds me of the Youtube videos called Homer's Pullout Game (not kidding, go check it out).
He sits on a beach in Matagorda, TX and watches people get stuck all day long coming off the blacktop trying to make it to the hardpack closer to the water... one right after the other, often several at a time.
There are several trucks that do most of the recoveries, and most of them seem to be Tundras.
Could just be chance, as there are plenty of capable trucks running back and forth, or could be that Tundra owners are just better people.

One of my neighbors has a house down there and thats exactly what they do. They just watch all the dumbasses get stuck. Then they get their jeep and start towing them out.
