tundra tailgate lock handle.

Hi All,

My truck dont have a keyed lock for the tailgate. It has a backup camera on the handle.

How do I go about adding one? What are my options?


It seams simple.. Buy a handle cover with key hole and add a key and lock.

I been searching and where do I find a key and lock? Is everyone using the same key for the ignition and rest of the doors?

 

My 2010 Limited has backup camera and locking handle and to answer your question yes mine uses the same key as the ignition for the Locking tailgate.

 

What year truck?

Buy tailgate lock and handle that has lock and camera some dealer can decide lock to match ing key. Or get a lock Smith to do it.
