was wondering if anyone had any insight on what it would take to make my base SR with the 4.0 to look similar to the the lifted one attached to this thread. I guess I’m more curious about the lift and if it’s a suspension or body lift? Will i need a re-gear? Not necessarily looking for an exact match so it doesn’t need to be that high up. But getting it close would be awesome.
Definitely going to get the Grille, Tow mirrors, fog lights, and add the lights in the scoop, any recommendations on where to get those from? Any tire sizes you’d recommend that would give me a similar stance?

That looks like a 7” lift with 37’s. Unfortunately since you have the 4.0 v6 AND tow- it would be a very bad idea.

I would honestly recommend selling it and buying the same truck with the 5.7, maybe even find a clean one that already has a lift that you like.

In order to get it looking like the other picture isn’t that hard suspension wise, but the bigger tires will definitely kill the v6.

Realistically- you would want to re-gear and add as much power as possible (headers, exhaust, intake and a tune). All that would be way more expensive than I think it’s worth without a v8. But hey I guess Tacoma guys do crazy stuff all the time with 4cyl and v6 so maybe you could just lift it, get wheels and tires and live with it being a bit sluggish.
