I haven’t done an introduction post yet but I will get around to it.

I was trying to find out if Toyota ever announced when the Tundra was going to get a “redesign”.

I heard 2019 but I saw the 2019 Pro TRD but that didn’t look too much different. But I also heard 2020 and 2021.

Any info? Or does Toyota play that close to the vest?

Hope they don't redesign it too much. But then again my 07 is a keeper...

    Fair enough.

Yesterday I finally saw the 2019s from Chevrolet and GMC. That got me thinking about the 2019 Tundra but all I could find was the Pro TRD.

    Yep all of the following:
    Diesel
    Fr/Rr lockers
    Portal axles
    Manual hubs
    A manual shift transfer case
    10 speed transmission
    46 gallon tanks
New stereo that is being kept secret for now
A 3/2 lift that WILL accommodate 35" tires
Aaaaand a combined MPG of 22.37 per gallon

    Just having some fun here!

10 speed trans wouldn't be bad. It'd help with the mileage.

Personally, I'd just like to buy a new truck and not have to spend $500 on headlights just to see at night.

I don’t think anyone knows for sure, haven’t seen any statements from people in the know at Toyota. They keep secrets better than the KGB.

I was at the dealer the other day and my salesman told me 2020 and they are working on a hybrid tundra. He said in the not so distant future all toyotas will be hybrid. If thats true, I guess I'll keep mine for a long time.

If that’s true I’ll just keep buying 2nd and 3rd gens. Screw owning an electric pickup.

    OMG the mileage!

That is the future of all car manufactures. And Toyota has the battery tech down. Soooo.... I'm not gonna say no until I see it.

$500?. What are you looking at? Speaking of headlights did the mods delete the post where the dude was shitting on Leo. I was going to add no problems with mine. I have had them for 6 months. Only thing I did notice was he went a little heavy on the adhesive but does not show after install. When I was installing my neighbor started to pick at it and I smacked him on the hand.
