Anyone else annoyed by this? It's like a crooked picture frame. Even though it's slightly off and you didn't notice it before, once you do it's all you see! My right side front is like 3/4 inches higher than the left and it's bothering me. I have the TRD Pro Fox suspension and Camburg UCA's with the Wescott spacers up front and back, but I'm thinking of removing the Westcott and Camburg UCA's and going with one of those Tundra spacers in the right side they sell at Toytech, but wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem or had tried the spacers on the ride side to level the front?

A small top plate spacer on the driver’s side will knock that right out. I recommend you checking out Coachbuilder aka Ekstrom designs.

Wait, what? Why would you remove Camburg UCA's?

It seems like they are allowing too much range of movement. Before, when I would turn full left or right and then let go of the steering wheel, the wheels would come back towards center. Now they don't return. They just stay full left or right.

They allow for more droop or wheel drop, maybe. They are tighter than stock for steering and deflection. You are describing another problem. Do not take those off.

Edit: Dude, you have Kings on there as well. Get to a good off-road suspension shop and talk to them. And, thank you for your service!

Actually, I had the Kings taken off and sold them for 75% of what I paid. I was very very unhappy with how they performed on the street. My ride quality on the street was AWEFUL! I put a used set of TRD Pro Fox shocks on and the poor ride quality went away. I don't jump my truck or beat it on the off road, so I learned my lesson not to go with a racing suspension if I am going to drive on the streets.

OK...but, the Camburg UCAs help don't hurt regardless, unless you are going back to stock height as well. Then, I don't think it matters. Still, go to a good suspension shop.

Ok, I'll stick with the Camburgs. I just want a reliable truck that rides nice that I can take off road occasionally.

The Westcott kit already uses 3/8 or 1/2 inch top plate spacers along with the collar lift. I’d need to look at mine, but I don’t think there’s a ton of room left for an additional shim… also, I thought the OEM Fox Pro were like the Bilstein Pro setup that compensated for the lean with different coils per side. Think those could be swapped?

I’m on the TRD Fox setup with CB +2s in the rear. I have no lean. I’ve had it on other Toyota vehicles where I had an aftermarket setup, but Toyota compensates for the lean with their OEM suspension. I’m curious why you have it with an OEM suspension kit…

Sounds like something is off. OEM, Kings, Camburg, no Kings, changes... either a lot of swaps without knowing why, or something else.

Wait your worried about a slight side to side difference? Hope you realize that when the truck is in motion it moves and flexes all around and the differences are a few inches all around so it's just about never equal. Plus that the fuel level, passengers, and or cargo loads will cause it to vary too. Kinda silly to compare it to a crooked picture frame that doesn't move. You might notice the wheel centercaps are out of line when you park too.

I had the lean and added a 1/4 inch shim above the drivers side strut when I added the 6112s…perfect now.

Not sure if you subbed out the install, but did you check to make sure the left and right are installed on the correct sides?

I don't know if the TRD Pro setup has left and right sides but it would make sense if they did. I paid a shop to install everything because I don't have the tools or place to do it myself.

I'll call the shop that installed it and ask them.

look at the top of the reservoirs on each shock - that will tell you the shocks are at least on the right sides. Another member posted about his resis hitting other suspension components and turned out his shop installed everything on the wrong sides. It’s possible the springs got swapped if they mixed them while installing the Westcott kit.

That's why I started the thread because I'm trying to find a solution other than just spending more money. I did a total of 3 swaps, or rather paid a shop to do it.

I take it the tops of the reservoirs will have a L or R on them? I'll go take a look here in a little while, thanks!

I believe it should have LF or RF or something along those lines.

Yes they do. I’m not sure if the spring differs left to right but the height of the spring perch does. I have the TRD Pro Fox and can confirm this height differential.

Just checked and they are installed on the correct sides. I'll give Wescott a call tomorrow and ask a few questions.
