I found this. What do you think? Anyone know what he means about then”weird mixing on complicated tracks”?

I have four speakers in my current ride so literally everything is an improvement haha.

How do you deactivate the fake engine sound?

I think that plastic sub box is going to have to go and a real sub box and JL sub is going to have to go in.

There is no way toyota is getting any kinda SPL out of that set-up

Thats what I have now, 600/1 JL Amp an 10" sub. Ill likely take that out and put it in the new rig.

Agreed. Probably the worst sounding “premium” audio system on the market.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    agreed.

I would like to see the EQ curves that are applied to make it sound so bad.

Look man, you'll be too busy driving while posting insta stories about how cool you are in this new non work truck all while enjoying those extra 3 MPGs and riding on that ever so sweet plush suspension.

Or maybe next year you'll get electrified with those world beater engine stats and be too busy laughing at all the other lowly unreliable 1/2 ton trucks to even think about playing jams.

Stop asking questions and embrace the Bro holiness of this Bro truck, Bruh.

I think they were trying for more of a southern california surfer rig. Would look right a home with a couple of paint matched or chrome surfboards mounted in the bed

Not sure about "fake engine noise". Haven't seen comments on that on youtube reviews yet.

TFL briefly mentions it when they are driving in one. Says it's "piped in"

Well at least they aren't pumping in fake mud tire whine on the 4x4s yet. I'm hoping all that stuff can be disabled.
