Are they sending out notices to affected VINs?

    https://www.autoblog.com/2020/10/29/toyota-fuel-pump-recall-expanded/

Here is a full list of vehicles that are now included in the expanded recall:

Toyota said the vehicles that have a fuel pump that may stop operating and could result in a vehicle stall, and the vehicle may be unable to be restarted. Dealers will replace the fuel pump with an improved version.

Toyota's customer support is available to owners with affected vehicles by calling the Toyota Brand Experience Center at 1 800 331-4331

Toyota mentioned all the Tundra year 2018 thru 2020. I'm thinking if all the trucks during this time while in production, installing the same fuel pump (built for Toyota cars/trucks) made by the same manufacturer, would be affected. My question is: Is there a certain batch of fuel pump made from this date to this date, only recalled?
What you can do is call the dealership where you bought your truck, they will run your VIN# to see if your truck is one of those on the list.

Funny story, I did receive a letter in May that my 2019 Tundra made the recall list. One week later, I got another letter saying sorry, it was a mistake that my truck is not affected.
I called the dealership to confirm it, and he said that my truck is not on the list.

Think about it, if all the Tundra 2018-2020 have a massive recall for defective fuel pump. Imagine all the dealership that would have to replace those fuel pump for every single car/truck owners. That will be 1.5 million fuel pumps to replace. Last time I checked, all the Tundra fuel pumps were on back ordered, and the dealership has to replace it for free.

I don't know if my Tundra is on the list or not. They can brush you off for now, even the guy I spoke to said no, (not on the list). Maybe it's a way not to cause chaos if everyone were to return their Truck in for replacement of the fuel pump. That's just my opinion. But if the fuel pump does go out and stalls the truck, I know where to find you, Toyota. :)

Made it through the first two updates (added vehicles) but as of yesterday no longer. Simply go to Toyota.com and scroll down to Recalls and put in your VIN. What I find most frustrating is the "Penny Pincher" accountants strike again. The truck has not changed it what feels like a million years but they thought we can save a quarter by using an even cheaper part. AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN how did that work out for you? 5,840,000 vehicles now affected. Every vehicle will need the entire fuel tank dropped and fuel pump replaced probably by the 99% older reliable model. On my recall the labor for the Tundra is said to be 1.5 hours with the Highlander and Landcruiser at 3.5 hours. All others are somewhere in between. So right off the bat at least 10-15 million labor hours will be owed to dealerships in some form or another. The cost of the 5.8 million fuel pumps also added to that. Dear Lord when did Toyota hire the Chief Accountants of Dodge and Chevy.

It will take a bit from reading the article. States that notices will start going out in December. Even if you check your VIN today, takes a little bit of time to gather and verify the data before all the VINs are loaded in NTHSA database, so the results might be different in a month. (Mine is only showing the turn signal light right now). You can look up your VIN yourself there to get a list of recalls for your vehicle(s).
I've been to there Ohio facilities when testing ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) systems when windshields are replaced. Verifying how the lane departure warning and automatic break system works with various windshield manufactures. They are very detailed and results were interesting the days I was there. Each vehicle had 3 to 4 windshields changed. Some mfg's were better than others for sure.

Wonder why they skipped over all 2016 models? I have a ‘16 Tundra and wife has a ‘16 Lexus IS200T.

Our fuel pumps probably will be added to it eventually.

Mine stalled when trying to turn over with 15miles estimated left on the tank.
