I have searched and can not find the thread that explained which years of the DC were compatible for toppers. I have finally found a Leer in MGM from a 2011 DC. Before I drive the hour I need to know if it will fit my 2017. I called a Leer dealer and they said I would need to change the rear window which makes no sense to me.

    Thanks

Will not fit your 2017. 2014 and up actually. 2007 to 2013 are compatible.

Thank You. I knew that was probably it since a topper that was the same color as my truck and only an hour away was for sale for $550.

I get your frustration. Sux. The tailgate changed just enough to cause fitment issues. Keep searching!

I wonder if changing the rear window is all you have to do? I haven't heard of anyone here doing that. If that is all it is it might still be worth it depending how pricey the new window is. It's not clicking to me tho how changing the window is the solution. :notsure:

I agree I know I read somewhere that with the tailgate change it comes up short when using an older topper.
