A salesman at a dealership just told me that the Tundra with the TSS package, 4WD comes standard with a 2.5" front leveling kit. Is this true?

False. Unless that particular dealer installs one on that package. Even then it’s probably a spacer lift.

The TRD Pro is the only Tundra to come factory with a leveled suspension lift in the front.

I thought it sounded fishy. Thanks for the response!

Either that or they fail to realize there’s a TRD Pro on their lot listed as “standard”. If that’s the case buy it haha

Most (if not all) TSS I see look leveled. I will have to look for one that is not. Was thinking that it was part of the package. :notsure:

I guess it depends on what TSS he is talking about. Toyota Safety Sense package or the TSS aftermarket package that is available in the southwest region.

They do not come stock that way. It may be a dealer add on or even something they do at port.

Not lifted, Gulf States Region only package, waste of money IMO. Local dealer stocks nothing but TSS will even lift them (spacer) and add aftermarket wheels and tires without deducting the wheels and tires they took off. I've seen them there as high as $52k. Only available in SR5 tires are KO2

So right after posting I left the house and saw this example. Not to be critical but for a $5k package this guy replaced his wheels and tires leaving only black badges, a decal, and an exhaust tip. He could have bought a SR5, his spacer lift, wheels/tires, flares, and bull bar and probably been close to that $5k appearance package.

In Cali they are notorious for sending SR5 models to DSI putting amp running boards 35s with 6 inch lift and some LRG rims and adding 9999 to the price tag. I just laughed. They did one and put a wrap on it to make it matte black and just sitting on the dealership in Palm Springs the wrap was peeling at the seams but they wanted almost 20k extra.

This guy bought the truck and did the mods himself to a truck with a $5k appearance package only to remove the majority of it. To each his own.
