Even with the brake peddle pressed the truck sometimes lurches forward when shifting from park to drive. Anyone else have this issue?

    Too many, but not enough....
Might depend on how your parking it. Try putting in neutral then applying parking brake. Then take foot off brake so the parking brake takes the weight. Then put in park.

There is a TSB on this. My SR 5 does this too. Search the forum for the list of bulletins and then take it to the dealer.

Mine will do it if I go straight to drive when start it up. But, I let rpms get down around 800 or so it will not do it on start up.

Took it to the dealer and they said because that TSB only currently applies to gas engines, they're not able to apply it to my truck without charging me a fee. They said it's best to wait for a TSB specific to the hybrid.

Anyone know if this is BS or is a standard operating procedure for Toyota?

I would call this BS since the hybrid has the same transmission and gas engine, it just has a battery to work in conjunction with it. Ask another dealer if they aren't going to do anything. IMO
