    Is there a PRO Skid Plate or is the TRD Skid Plate and the PRO one in the same?

    I think over the years terminology has fluctuated some. Currently there is either a stock skid plate or the upgraded TRD Pro skid plate. So I believe to answer your question, they should be the same.

    The newer TRD pro skid plates have the red "TRD" logo also. But otherwise the same.

    Be careful about the one you’re looking at;
    For many tundras and most years Toyota has been throwing on a little stamped steel piece that they called a skidplate. Beginning in 2015 they included a true skidplate of 1/4” aluminum, only on the Pro. Now that skidplate is available on other models. But, they still call that other thing a skidplate although calling it a splash guard would be much more accurate

    Do you know if the newer ones will fit a 2016?
