For those of you that have installed the rear sway bar on your TRD Pro does it require a lift or can you do it on the ground. I know a lift is preferred but wanted to know if it was possible on the ground. TIA

On your back. With a couple buckets to help as your 3rd arm.

On the ground is just fine. Plenty of room for you to crawl under and install everything.

If you are taking the time to do the rear sway bar, do the front also, Do either the TRD or Sequoia front sway bar you will really notice the difference. It is a great enhancement to the rear TRD bar.

the rear is a must but the front is more of a “I’ve done all the mods I can think of, I guess I’ll do the front now”.

I used zip ties to temporarily hold up u-bolt and saddle bracket (as a third hand) so that I could raise the bar with bushing brackets and hand start the acorn nuts. Otherwise like others have already said, it can be a handful.

I’ve always wondered what happens when you run out of mods? Sell and buy a different vehicle and start all over? Kind of like when you run out of home improvement projects....:monocle:

Truth. I’ve even contemplated mods to mods like swapping my Kenwood DMX906S for the new 10.1” screen...

Now your realllly looking for ways to spend some $$$. The DMX906S is a nice HU but those new 10.1 floating screens are pretty damn nice

I torqued everything to the specs on the instructions. The u-bolts over the axle came straight across the top but ended up curving down by the time the torque spec was reached

All said and done in 45 mins. Would have taken me about 15-20 with a lift. Easy install just like the video above. Drove it today. Huge difference. Drives way better! And no the brackets aren't crooked. It's just the pic for some reason.

Hows the ride? Is it harsher? Do you feel more bumps?

Driving around town, it feels great, don't notice any bumpiness issue.

Driving 120 miles to Los Angeles, it's bumpy as all hell now.

I ordered mine from the dealer since I get wholesale price and no tax. I paid approx. $220.
