Just ordered 2017 TRD PRO so I'm new to the forum. I'm trying to figure out wheels and tires. Toyota is telling me with a leveler I can run 295-55-20. Has anyone tried this combo? Would I need to have a positive offset? Appreciate any help I can get on this. Hate to buy tires and have rub. Thanks

Depends on the offset 295's would probably rub the uca on the stock pro wheels(+60) I just took the 285/70/18's off today because I'm having trac problems. They are way closer to the stock 275/65/18. I have 2.5" lift, pro is 2". You don't want to go to far the other way with the offset or you might have to do some trimming.

Thanks for the replies. Stoked to get this truck. Currently have 16 4runner Pro and I love it, but struggles with boat. The rims are 20x9 Fuel Vector +20 offset. I've seen some threads about uca rub, but I don't have the truck yet so I can't measure.

According to the majority on here +20 is right in the sweet spot for our trucks. That's about 1.5" farther out. Minus the added width of the wheels. So, you should be ok with the uca clearance with a 295. Cab mounts might be close as will the front inner fender liners. Congrats!

Thanks! I'm 4 weeks out, but once I get it I'll post some pics. Lots of creative people with sick trucks on here.

This is the place to check out badass tundras and get ideas for mods. But beware, there's lots of us here to spend your money for you. LOL, modding your truck can be addictive!

    Welcome from TN!

You'll be just fine with 20 offset. I'm running stock wheels (60 offset) with 275/70's and no rub so you should be just fine. If anything, get some wheel spacers from spidertrax

Welcome bud. Go bigger! Atleast 295/60/20. You might have to do some minor trimming but you won't regret it later.

Thanks For all the responses. Glad to be part of the club. You can definitely tell you guys aren't afraid to drop cash on your rigs. I am the same way so this will be fun. Does anyone know where I can get the black accent for the TRD Pro engraved in the bed? I saw a truck on here with it and it looks awesome.

if the wheels are 20x9 with a +50mm offset, then you should be able to fit 295's without rubbing the UCA, but it will be very close.... probably between 5-10mm. I am looking to get the same size and i have found some threads over on TundraTalk about people running that wheel and tire combination.

Here is the 4runner pro. No mods because I bought my boat before working on the rig. Once I realized it didn't pull the boat well I knew I was gonna have to upgrade to Tundra. This truck is awesome and the crawl feature is sick. I will say this, I've owned it for just over a year and Toyota is giving me $1000 less than I paid for it for a trade. You gotta love Toyotas! They hold their value.

You can get the tailgate inserts in plenty of places. I got mines at Amazon. But there is also ebay, @Roman, ToyTec has 'em. So look around so you can find the price, quality and look you're going for.

Too bad you couldn't keep both, that would be a dream pair of trucks in the driveway.

I have a 21.5' Sanger towboat with surf package. It will pull it, but it works hard and living in Idaho there's a lot of hills to climb. Just didnt want to abuse the engine. I wish I could keep both. But too many toys already.
