I have ‘19 Pro with this lift except in the rear I have a 1.5” shackle instead of the 2” block and it rides the same as before the lift. I am only running 275/70r18s right so I have no answer on the 35s. I will be moving up to a 295/70r18 at some point. I will be adding a 1” block soon to the rear because with only 1.5” in the rear it sits a little to level.

Why'd you choose not to use the back spacer block and go with a shackle? And where'd you buy the shackle? Did you install yourself. Promise to leave you alone after this haha

    Thanks.
I originally was going to just add a 1.5” shackle and a CB .5”(1” lift) shim and call it good but it just wasn’t high enough. The rear shackle is from Pro Form Fabrication. I had a dealership install the shim and shackle and a local 4x shop install the Pro+2 kit.
It’s all good. I like showing off my truck.LOL

Yeah, I hear you. I appreciate the info. I can't decide what I need to do to my truck. Sometimes I think I need to do the 2" lift and bigger tires. And sometimes I think I just need 1.25" spidertrax on there so the tires would sit flush with the fenders. I am also running 275/70r18.Screen Shot 2020-04-21 at 4.16.19 PM.jpg

I would do the +2. I measured afterwards and it does bring it up 2 more inches. The supposedly stock 2” plus the additional2” makes a nice roughly 4” stance. I now have to hop into the truck. I have 1.25” spacers ordered and on the way and will be puting them on immediately. I’ll post pics once that done. Not sure if I’m gonna run the tires I have bald then replace or buy new and try to sell the old but there will will be bigger meats.

Thanks! I agree, the stance of your truck is perfect. I think I'll go for the +2 ReadyLift.

I had a local 4x shop install it and they charged me $375, $401 with tax. Would have been more if they had put the rear block on but since i have a 1.5" shackle that part wasn't needed. I basically paid for the front install and alignment.

@MaxYota this lift didn’t affect your automatic speed control radar for the cruise control did it? I know that’s in the grill, I assume adding a couple inches wouldn’t throw it off ...?

I don’t have an answer sorry. I don’t use any of the safety gadgetry that Toyota adds to these trucks. For long trips we take the wife’s car for the fuel mileage, you know how much fuel these Tundras sucks down. lol.

I’m getting shuttering from rear axle at take off from complete stops. I also feel the rear push at normal complete stops. Not quite happy with kit currently! The ReadyLift kit did not come with a drop carrier bearing to fix rear axle shuttering. My local 4x4 specialist garage is recommending the carrier bearing drop kit (spacers) to fix issue. There also going to inspect and re- torque everything and figured out rear push issues as well.497493BF-27D7-4410-91AF-0E3D07480A80.jpg

Nice looking rig ya got. I had the rear carrier bearing drop added when I put on the 1.5” shackles. Later added a 1” block for a total of 2.5” rear lift and it still does not shutter so it Should stop with the 2” block. I’ve been running the lift for a little over three weeks and awesome so far. Love the look too. Hope everything buffs out for you, I think it’s a really good lift.

Murf... your Papa Smurf TRD looks Awesome! 305/70/18 look great. When I bought my rig it had BFG Ko2 305/65/18 but the ride was horrible and bouncy... dealership rebalanced with the road force machine and it still was horrible. I was told by Discount Tire that 305/65/18 were to big for stock 8” TRD wheels. 9” wheel is needed so tire isn’t stuffed and pinched in the wheel causing the bounce I was experiencing. What brand rear drop carrier bearing you install?

James I will take pictures of front end tomorrow and give you a idea on CV joints angles. I am scheduled Tuesday for re-torque and rear carrier drop bearing options and hopefully install if they have one in stock. Just don’t know what brand they have or use at shop. They can order any brand you prefer and can give me feed back on products.

Murf did you install the rear shock extensions on your rig that the ReadyLift SST 2” plus 2 provided in kit? I can see the extensions on my rear shocks because there exposed unlike yours? Is that why you went with rear shackles to avoid the shock extensions? Thanks bud.

Thanks. I bought the coach builder carrier drop. Alright here’s my story. I originally did a Pro CB 1” lift front shim, carrier drop and a 1.5” shackle. Did not see the truck as high enough so I bought and had a 4x Center install the ReadyLlift +2. Once the front was installed the store called me and said the 2” block plus 1.5” shackle would put the rear 10’ up in the air and do I still want it on. I said as long as it looks level I’m good, he assured it did so that’s where the install stopped. The truck looked to level so I was able to get a 1” Toytec block from a member of the forum and installed it myself so the rear shocks where never touched. I did flex the truck on an old loading ramp and everything looked fine from my walk around so I just left it. Whew! That’s a lot of typing.
