Hey fellow Tundra nerds! Just came across this newer option for an aftermarket 19+ TRD Pro grill lookalike from Taco Vinyl: https://tacovinyl.com/collections/tundra/products/copy-of-tundra-pro-grille-1

I've been looking to nix all the chrome on my '19 cement Limited since I bought it, and my grill is the last bastion of shiny before I'm finally rid of it. I was about to pull the trigger on an older style TRD Pro grill in cement from Sparks, but I was still going to have to figure out that pesky sensor relocation, so I did one last search on the webs and came across this vendor. Looks like they've been more focused on Tacoma & 4Runner parts in the past. This Tundra grill looks brand new seeing as their Youtube install video was just posted yesterday:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6h7JEgYBA0

The price is very reasonable considering you can order it color matched and it includes the hood bulge and sensor garnish. Was only $528 out the door, including shipping.

I know I'm rolling the dice a bit since it's not a time-tested vendor on these forums, but their rapid reply to my emailed questions and their install video were very encouraging, so I just went for it. I'm happy to report back here once I receive it if anyone else is considering this option.

    Cheers!

    Edit: Clunky wording.

Very interested to see how this works out! Seems like it could be the best option for a Pro grill on colors that have not been available on a 2018+ Pro. I'm in the same place as you with a newer Cement Tundra. Good luck!

promising, wish they had a way to calculate shipping cost before you purchase. That could be another $100!

So my shipping was $51.00. If you sign up for their emails, they send you a 10% discount code on your first order. But don't do like I did and order before the email came through. Discount code was not available when I ordered so I sent them an email requesting it after. Hell, if they honor it, it will cover my shipping.

I was able to get a shipping quote before I finalized the purchase. Was only $28 for me to CA.

Just an update, they got back to me pretty quick via email. Honored the 10% discount, so that will cover my freight. On a side note, they informed me their normal lead time is 2-4 weeks, but they received the wrong parts for the Tundras so lead times may be extended. They told me they are working hard to get the correct parts in and out within their normal lead times. Seems like a pretty straight up outfit to me. Hope their product is as good. Stay tuned!

Sub'd. This is definitely on the list and seems like a real straightforward install, and color matched. Boom. Adios chrome!

If anyone installs this with TSS, post up how everything works after the fact. A little concerning that all of the protective foam needs to be ripped off to transfer the sensor.

I suppose you're right, never thought about it like that. I'd be willing to bet that you could apply some weather stripping to the back as well once it is re-installed on the new grill!

I'm doing some research for my dad's 3rd gen, so I'm in the same boat. Chrome needs to be gone. Hopefully I can sell him on this, it looks pretty good so far!

Somewhat surprised they don't sell the grill and bulge separately. I would think some people would have the need for only one or the other.

Yeah I really only want the insert as that other place that used to sell these pro grilles allowed you to just buy the insert. I'm gonna see after a couple people install this and give their reviews if they're willing to just sell the insert as my surround and buldge already have ppf and ceramic pro installed so I'm not paying again to have that done to this one.

If this comes back with good reviews, Id be happy to make this arrangement since I just want the bulge and surround.

These all come from the same supplier in China, just like the ones on eBay. From what i recall they work just fine.

I just did a quick eBay search and didn't see a single aftermarket grill kit in cement. Where are you seeing these?

sounds good man. Just have to be careful taking the clips off to get the insert out of the surround, but maybe we can do something where they don't install the insert into the grille.
