I'll need new tires in 10-15k miles and pretty sure I'm going with Nitto RG in a 275/70r18. If I were to find a matching TRD OR Wheel, mount a RG to it, and rotate it in as needed would the wheel get scuffed up when it's acting as the spare? I'm thinking if I go a size bigger I'd want a matching size spare and wheel and might as well rotate the spare in but don' want the wheels to get damaged when they are rotated to "the spare". Definitely don' want to be like the girls that drive Jeeps on 20" whels with 35s and the stock spare on the back:stirthepot:.

I guess my main question is this; if I bought a matching TRD OR Wheel would it get scuffed or scratched when it is tucked under the bed as a spare?

No, can’t damage the wheel under the bed.

I've had my spare tire on a TRD Offroad Alloy since summer 2014, with a TPMS sensor installed. First tire on it was the OE spare Michelin LTX A/T 2. I upgraded to five 275/70R18 Michelin LTX A/T 2's LRE about eight months later - on the original TRD wheels.

There's absolutely no risk of damage to the spare wheel - only the tire contacts the underside of the truck, not the wheel. The spare does get very dirty (salty too, but no problem with that in AR!). Best to clean and wax the spare wheel thoroughly before cranking it up under the bed. Tire protectant helps the rubber, too.
