Currently have a 2018 Tundra, with a TRD CAI. My silly question is would it be ok to put in a K&N filter, instead of the TRD filter. The only difference I see in the TRD CAI from stock, is the top piece has the orange TRD logo and the orange colored tube, bottom piece is stock.

    Thank you for any replies.

    Should be fine.
The TRD filter is probably a rebranded K&N filter anyways. If not, they are very, very similar.

If it fits, it’ll work. But there won’t be any difference from the TRD filter. They make cleaning kits for it if it’s just dirty.
