When I bought my 07 there was no trailer brake. I bought an aftermarket brake setup. There was a white plastic pigtail adapter in the glove box and everything worked fine. There was a plastic plug on the upper kick panel that the pigtail plugged into. My question is, I am considering a '15 or 16 Tundra, If I unplug the pigtail and keep the aftermarket brake will I be able to plug into the same place [upper left kick panel] as I did in the 07.
    thanks

I'm not sure about the kick panel plug, but there is a plug behind the right knee panel, it takes a different plug from the kick panel. This is from my experience with a 2016 Tundra.

I am wondering if I can use the 07 tundra pigtail in this plug you're talking about
