I unplugged my factory controller and plugged in an aftermarket unit. Now I'm getting a warning light image.jpg
Does anyone know how I can delete the code or what not to remove the notification. I just want to pull my trailer and have working brakes. Silly Toyota brake controller.

I think I remember reading a thread somewhere on here about disconnecting the battery for about 15 to 20 minutes and reconnecting it. That should solve the issue, use the search function and read.

Read on another discussion that if you unplug battery for a few minutes you clear code. But you will no longer have screen showing trailer set up on your display

This is such a ridiculous problem to have and still not resolved. Wow.

If it were me, and I owned a new Tundra, this would be a two week problem that would be easily fixed.

It is, just install an aftermarket controller .... And wait for Toyota to get their ducks in a row and fix it.
