Inspired by seeing the nightshade edition thread, I decided there should be a trail edition thread as well. I searched and didn't find one but if there already is I will definitely delete this one. I'll start off with some pictures. Currently sitting on the eibach pro kit stage 2 with adjustable coilovers set at roughly 2", spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers front and back, 265/70/18 Kenda Klever AT2s. Got rid of the chrome end caps with black plastic ones. Also have Caliraised led ditch light mounts with their side shooter pods and iBoards aluminum side steps.

Tonneau covers confirmed to fit with bed boxes:
    Truxedo Sentry CT
    Tyger roll up
    Gator Srx roll up
    Truxedo Pro X15
    Agricover Access Premium cover
    Agricover LoMax Stance
    TruXedo TruXport Soft Roll Up
    Diamondback covers

I’ve added a tonneau, N-fab steps, bumper shells, and a couple other interior mods. I’m keeping the wheels, as they are one of the reasons I got the trail edition in addition to the Army Green color. Most likely will add a leveling kit in the summer time.

Count me in. Planning on getting better pictures once I get the front bumper corners on.

I was going to keep the chrome front bumper but seeing your truck with the black shells just might sway me over. I like the wheels too. I'm probably going to delegate them to winter duty. In the past my vehicles have had so-so wheels for the winter but now my truck will look good year round.

I really like the black bumper now. On the fence about swapping grilles. I kinda like just a little bit of chrome. I want to see a nightshade edition grille in person, as I think it is a black chrome version of the grille on our trucks.

I really like how yours looks now. The grille kind of ties in with the headlights straight across the front of the truck. I'm probably going to end up copying you :anonymous:

Corso your truck looks awesome! Did the 285/75/18 Duratracs tires change much with your mileage or noise?

Not really. They're tall and narrow. Getting an average of 13.5 mpg. As far as noise goes, I always have my music loud and don't hear the tires.

Is it true that a lot of Trail Edition buyers are dumping the quasi cooler things which make it a TE?

I plan on keeping mine too. Plan on putting a cover on, so they’ll be nice for the extra storage. Right now they let water in a little.

That's why I just ordered a tonneau cover so I can store all my stuff in them and have confidence that said stuff will stay dry.

I like those storage bins. Not sure why some folks don't. They can be removed temporarily if you need some extra bed space.

Man I can't wait for winter to be over. Skid plate arrived today and tonneau cover yesterday and I want to install them but it only got up to 8° today and that was the warmest day in the past week or so.

Just got it home today. Canadian edition so no special cooler in the back (why not?). Only trim level we can get Army Green, so I'm happy about that.

Got a pair of smoked chrome LED headlights to go on. Roll up tonneau on the way. I'm thinking of trying out the Rough Country 3.5 full strut lift. It's about $1200, vs $3500+ for a Toytec aluma w/SPC UCAs.
