I'm not a fan of the traction control...can you disable it and what does everyone else do?

Not nearly enough room here!

On my 2010,I press and hold till light appears,press and hold again, till light appears. Unless the road conditions are poor ,this has become as automatic, as fastening my seatbelt.

Ok so press and hold twice? I'll give it a shot. I don't understand why they engineered it so difficult. My Grand Sport and C6 coup was just one push.
