Update. See my post down below, Post 11
    Hello to all:
I have a 2006 Tundra Standard Cab V6. Only have had it a few months. Trying to find the TPMS module to disable the 'tire' light on the instrument cluster blinking. I've looked every where on the truck I can get at, but no luck. Not under the glove box nor behind it. The heater is directly under the glove box. Took the back of the glove box off but don't see anything that looks like the module. I'd really appreciate it if someone would give me a detailed description of where the module is and what color it is. Or provide a photo of it. I've read up on disabling the thing by splicing the pink/black and white/black wires together on the module with a scotchlok. The cost to replace the tire pressure sensors (5) is ridiculous!

Take the glove box out, and it’s at that level toward the driver’s side.

And for ‘05 -‘06 you cut the pink wire and ground it.

That's a pretty wide open answer. Toward the drivers side could be anyplace. But thanks for taking the time to comment.

up by the glove box is the ABS computer and the trailer brake controller.

MY TPMS reciever in my 05 reg cab is up above the headliner right above the drivers head

(actually i just went outside and checked. The reciever is up in the headliner.. the computer is by the glovebox. Not too hard to reach. you could also just remove the wire from behind the instrament cluster. much easier to reach)

Not exactly....according to the 05-06 FSM, it's located between integration panel and glove box !

Nope, sorry. I did this on a friends ‘06 a few years ago, but didn’t take any.

I looked there twice, very closely, and could not locate it. Last night I did more searching and found out (with photo) that it's behind the heater control knobs face plate. 4 screws, pull the knobs off, pull the face off and that's the location.

BubbaW: I believe that's for an extended cab. I have a standard (2 door) cab.

    I'm thankful for everyone helping!

Landphil, thank you for the link.

When and if I succeed I'll post back. Won't be able to work on it for a few days.

Bumping this back to the top. Some clarification please. 2006 Tundra Standard Cab, V6: I've been doing a lot of research concerning disabling the TPMS. I've seen or read at least 4 different ways of doing it, but by cutting wires. Don't wanna do that. I watched a Youtube video a few weeks ago about how to disable it using Scotchlok splicers, but I can't find the video again. I remember it showed/said to splice the White with Black Stripe wire to the Pink with Black Stripe wire with a Scotchlok splicer. The ECU is behind the radio/heater face plate. Pull the plug out, splice the two wires and the light will go out. Does this sound correct? I don't want to cut any wires. This way I can remove the Scotchlok and everything is back to it's original workings. I hope someone can confirm this for me> :)
