About to order wheels and I’m getting the option to get tire pressure sensors included. Will the new sensors have to be programmed or do they automatically communicate with the truck?

They will have to be programmed. Just use the sensors you have currently.

So I agree use same sensors but if youre trying to sell stock wheels like me it will be a struggle. Everyone seems to want my stock tpms sensors?!?

I was wanting separate sensors in case I had to take the truck back to the dealer for warranty I could slap the stock tires/wheels back on it ( because you know how some dealerships are). I just talked to a local shop and they said they could program new sensors for $20. Thinking I might use the stock sensors in the new set up and put the new ones in the stock wheels. If i ever need to swap then I’ll get them programmed
