I'm trying not to kick a dead horse here, I had a bad experience with a prior suspension upgrade on my old Chevy HD. What is better for on road ride quality Toytec radflo, Toytec boss, Bilstein 6112? I just want to raise the front end no more than 2". I have a 1794 with the the TRD off road package. Has anyone tried the Bilstein 8112's? Thanks

Call the gurus at ToyTec. Tell them what type of ride you are looking for. They won't recommend something you won't want or need.

I've got the 6112's on the top setting and the ride is night and day better than the stock trd Bilstein shocks. I can't comment on the others since I've never driven on them. The only drawback of the 6112 is that they cannot be adjusted on the truck.

I'm looking at the above options also with the addition of icons. Looking forward to see which one you go with. Keep in mind that toytecs rear shocks are made for lifted trucks so not sure if it will work without a lift. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah, the 5160's are for 1-1.5" rear lift. I had them on without lift for a little while with no problems. But I didn't go stuffing the axle way up to the bump stop.. That would be the only thing that would hurt them. As they are a little bit longer than the stock rear shocks

I cannot speak for toytec but I really like my 6112/5160 combo. Huge improvement over the stock limited suspension. Another good resource for info is David at coachbuilder. He has been a huge help, is always accessible and make very high quality parts.

I have the BOSS kit, which is great. I don't have any experience with Radflo yet.

The BOSS shocks are specifically valved for the Tundra.

Thanks, I've heard nothing but good things about boss, I'm assuming the radflo are also valved for the Tundra?

Anyone know if 650lb springs can be paired with both boss and radflo? I have no plans on adding a front bumper so I want the best ride possible.

Boss comes with either 650 or 700. Red or silver springs.

Out of what you listed Toytec Radflo 2.5" Coilovers are the best. Trust me I know :). I have had the Boss 2.0 and bilstein 5100s on on my truck. Check out my build. Absolutely love the Toytec Radflo setup.

would you say on the streets/freeway, that the radflos are much better than the Boss? Like with rough pavement and big dips, speed bumps etc?

They are a big step up. On the street with speed bumps, dips, potholes, cracks, etc. Haven't been off-road yet with them but hopefully will be soon.

Yes they are rebuildable. You will want to rebuild every 3 years or so depending on use

Boss with heavy springs for winch bumper. Set at 2". No complaints with 20K plus miles.
